![]() ![]() One leads you to the boss for the act (if you have completed the quests you will know the correct tomb). ![]() Each tomb is bigger than the entire canyon and randomly built. Canyon of the magi for example comes out as a square with 9 tombs i believe. ![]() The areas listed above by azn represent a very small amount of the total game in number of areas and size of the areas. I would say it is still as random as diablo 1. I know that the question may sound a little strange, but trust me, I'm a HUGE fan of randomness in games and this issue is really interesting for me. Is it the same in Diablo 2, or the amount of non-random maps is higher, and the game isn't as random as Diablo 1 was? But, in general, almost the whole game world was unique each time you started the game. Is that true? If I'm not mistaken, in Diablo 1, the only non-random levels were the special Quests locations (Leoric's Tomb, Poisoned water cave etc) and Level 16, plus some quest-related areas on random-levels were also preset. I never played through the whole Diablo 2 though (never even managed to complete the first Act, but it's surely not the game's fault) and I heard that the amount of still (non-random) maps in Diablo 2 is relatively high. I'm a huge fan of the original Diablo, mostly because the game provides such a terrific amount of replayability and flexibility due to random monsters, items and maps. Hi and sorry if that was asked before - the search didn't seem to help. ![]()
